Beauty Box is a well-established nail salon based in Liverpool, operating since 2019. Prior to working with us, the salon already had a strong local reputation and consistent bookings through word of mouth and nearby foot traffic.
However, as the business expanded and added more nail technicians, a new challenge emerged. While demand existed, the salon struggled to keep all technicians fully booked at the same time, meaning capacity wasn’t being maximised consistently.
The objective was to increase visibility, fill quieter appointment slots, and create a system that allowed the salon to operate closer to full capacity, not just during peak periods.
The issue wasn’t demand, it was distribution. With more technicians available, Beauty Box needed a way to consistently bring in new customers while maintaining momentum during quieter periods. Relying solely on local awareness limited growth, and the salon needed a stronger online presence to match its offline reputation.
The challenge was to turn Beauty Box into a destination brand, not just a local salon people stumbled upon.

Our approach focused on building strong organic visibility first, using social media as the primary growth lever. We identified TikTok as the key platform to showcase the salon’s work, personality, and results in a way that felt authentic and engaging rather than overly polished.
Alongside organic growth, we supported quieter periods with paid advertising, branding, and local influencer collaborations to ensure seats were filled consistently rather than relying on spikes in demand alone.
We worked closely with Beauty Box to develop a content strategy centred around nail transformations, behind-the-scenes moments, client reactions, and technician work. TikTok became the main driver of attention, allowing the salon to reach a much wider audience beyond its immediate area.
As momentum grew, Beauty Box went viral multiple times, rapidly increasing brand awareness. We complemented this organic growth with paid ads during quieter periods to fill remaining appointment slots, as well as collaborations with local influencers to reinforce trust and local relevance.
